We offer a variety of unique programs for individuals and groups—Mounted Therapeutic Horsemanship and Ground-Based Horsemanship for those with a diagnosed condition that affects daily life or functioning, and Field Trips, Team Building and Summer Camps for those with or without a diagnosis.
Whether you are managing a long or short term diagnosis or challenge that benefits from therapeutic horsemanship, or you are part of a group seeking to experience the power and partnership of a horse—with or without a diagnosis—there is a place for you here.
Populations We Serve
Equine-assisted services can benefit individuals living with a wide range of disabilities, diagnoses, medical conditions, mental health conditions, and other life challenges.
A formal diagnosis or qualifying medical or mental health condition is required to participate in our mounted or ground based programs.
We See Beyond the Diagnosis. Where everyone can thrive.
We welcome each individual based on their unique needs, goals, abilities, and strengths—because a diagnosis is only one part of the person.
Some of the populations and diagnoses we commonly serve include:
- Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Traumatic Brain Injury
- Developmental Delays
- Down syndrome
- Visual and/or Hearing Impairments
- Cerebral Palsy
- Stroke
- Spina Bifida
- ADD/ADHD
- Anxiety and Depression
- Multiple Sclerosis
- Post Traumatic Stress
- Cancer and other serious or terminal illnesses
- Veterans, Military & First Responders
- Foster Care children & youth
- At risk youth
- Seniors & Geriatrics
- And so much more!
Our participants come to us with different diagnoses, experiences, abilities, and goals. We focus on the whole person—not simply a diagnosis or label—and strive to create a supportive environment where every participant can experience connection, growth, confidence, and the unique benefits of working with horses.
